The Richmond line
John Richmond has designed under his own name since 1982. The Richmond Residences carry the same delivery contract as the Trussardi collection — Italian furniture, lighting, kitchen and appliance packages supplied and installed before handover — against a more graphic interior character.
Both collections sit inside the same 9.3-hectare community and share its private beach, its beach club, its 130-key five-star hotel and its medical wellness centre. The choice between them is a question of interior temperament, not of address, aspect or specification level.
Richmond Residences: studio, 1-bed and 2-bed prices
Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom residences, with dataset starting prices that match the Trussardi collection: AED 550,000, AED 1,100,000 and AED 1,800,000 respectively. The Richmond collection has no three-bedroom plan.

Who John Richmond is
John Richmond has designed under his own name in Milan since 1982, and his label is among the brand partners Mira Developments works with across a portfolio that runs from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah to Tbilisi and Andermatt. At Mira Ocean Estates he is the design partner for the Richmond Residences, one of the two apartment collections. The full collection name is Richmond Residences, Mira Ocean Estates, and it is the collection developed in collaboration with him.
Clean lines, layered textures
The design character is clean lines set against layered textures — contemporary, expressive and comfortable, in the designer's own description. Where the Trussardi interior recedes, the Richmond interior has more to say: sharper profiles, a more graphic composition and surfaces that hold the eye. It still answers to the setting, having been drawn for coastal living, but it is a room with a point of view rather than a neutral frame for the sea. A buyer who finds restrained interiors flat will probably prefer it.
Richmond or Trussardi: how to decide
Start from what is identical: the community, the private beach and beach club, the hotel servicing, the freehold title, the turnkey contract and the published starting prices. Each comes with the whole Richmond package in place, from the Italian-made sofas and beds to the kitchen appliances and the plates in the cupboards.
