Privacy notice

Draft for legal review. The description of what the forms collect is accurate to the current build; retention periods, lawful bases and the processor list are still to be settled by counsel against the UAE PDPL, Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law and the GDPR.

Who

This site is operated for Mira Developments L.L.C. Enquiries sent through it are received and handled by the sales desk working on this project, operated by BIG LAB (biglab.ae).

What the forms ask for

Every enquiry form on this site asks for the same things:

  • your name;
  • your phone number, together with the country it belongs to;
  • your email address — optional. Leaving it blank never stops an enquiry being sent;
  • two choices: agreement to this notice and the Terms of Use (required), and consent to be contacted by phone, WhatsApp or email about the enquiry (optional). We record which boxes were ticked, the exact sentence each one said, and the time.

There is no free-text message field, and nothing else is asked.

What is recorded with an enquiry

  • the address of the page you sent it from, including any campaign tags in that address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid, fbclid);
  • the page that referred you to this site, if your browser reports one;
  • your browser’s language setting and its user-agent string;
  • the IP address the enquiry was sent from.

Automatic country detection

When a form loads, your browser asks ipwho.is — or, if that does not answer, ipapi.co — which country your IP address belongs to, so that the phone field can show your dialling code before you type. Your IP address is sent to that service for this purpose; only a two-letter country code comes back. The answer is kept in your browser for the rest of the visit and is not stored by us.

What happens when an enquiry arrives

To give the sales desk some context before it calls, the IP address of the enquiry is looked up with ipwho.is on receipt, and the approximate location our hosting provider attaches to the request is read. This gives a country, and often a city, region, network provider and time zone. It is approximate, frequently wrong behind a VPN or private relay, and is never used to make any automatic decision about you.

The enquiry is then sent:

  • by email to the sales desk, through Resend (resend.com);
  • as a copy into a private Telegram group used by the same desk.

What this site does not do

  • It does not attach any record of how you browsed — which pages or sections you read — to an enquiry.
  • It does not use a third-party captcha. Spam is kept out by a hidden field, a check on how quickly the form was completed, and a limit on enquiries per IP address. None of these sends anything about you anywhere.
  • It does not sell or share enquiry details with anyone outside the above.

Other services the pages use

None for the page itself. Typefaces are built into this site and served from it, so loading a page contacts no third party. The presentation PDF is served from this site too. The only outbound call a page makes is the country lookup described above, and that happens when an enquiry form loads, not when a page does.

Consent boxes

Both consent boxes arrive ticked. You can clear either before sending; clearing the first stops the enquiry being sent, because it covers the Terms of Use.
